Chelsea Flower Show: the breakfast

This is flower arranging in breakfast form...For this weekend only, Peter Jones, the recently refurbed department store in Sloane Square is doing a 'Blooming Botanical Breakfast'. It's perfect for getting in the mood for the show.

Served in the second floor Brasserie from 9.30am to 11.30am it costs £9.95 and includes:

-freshly baked warm poppy seed bloomer with thyme butter and lavender honey
-soft buttermilk, rose petal and blueberry muffin blossoming with edible flowers, and
-natural yoghurt with wild strawberry compote dressed with fresh mint.

Finished off with a pot of jasmine-infused green tea (if they've got any left, which they didn't this morning).

It's a sugar hit, but doubtless you'll burn it off as you race around the show gardens at Chelsea.
